5167 and 5195 are the usual return address sheets; 8257 is made for inkjet printers. Which to buy.
Half a sheet left? Set Start at label to the first free one: label 1 is the top left, and the count runs across each row.
Count the empty spots from the top left, row by row: your start label is the one after the last empty spot. The sheet beside the form draws the used ones grey.
Choose Actual size in the print dialog. Print one page on plain paper and hold it over the labels against a window first.
Four sizes from Avery's own template files. Every number in a row is the same sheet, so one PDF fits it.

Moving this year?
Type “We've moved!” in the first line and your new address under it. Every card you send carries it, and friends can update their lists from the envelope.
5167's labels are 1/2 in tall and hold three lines: for the news and a three-line address, pick 5195, 8257 or 5160. The sheet above says so when a line doesn't fit.
For the season
Pick a design and an ink in the sheet above: it prints beside your address in simple line art, and the text moves over to fit. A photo or a picture of your own can't be added, and text alone can look the part too.
Eight designs drawn for this site: a snowflake, an evergreen, holly, an ornament, a star, a gift, a wreath or a candle. The ink is black, cranberry, evergreen, navy or gold; the full editor can color the design alone.
On 5195 or a larger sheet, a first line such as “Season's greetings from” sits above your name.
The full editor sets the labels in Times, for the look of an engraved card.
Clear film lets the envelope's color show around your address. Same layouts: 5667 (laser), 15667 (laser), 8667 (inkjet) and 18667 (inkjet) for 5167; 15695 (laser), 18695 (inkjet) and 6520 (laser or inkjet) for 5195.
"Fit to page" can resize the sheet, and then the lower rows drift off their labels. The PDF opens at 100%; keep it there.
Printers differ: some print on the side facing up in the tray, others on the side facing down. Mark an X on a plain sheet, print once and look before you load labels.
Hold a plain-paper print over a 5167 sheet against a window. If it sits off, calibrate once and save the correction for that printer.
Yes. Pick 5160 above, type your address and download the PDF: 30 labels of 1 × 2-5/8 in, placed where Avery's own template puts them, free and with no watermark. The template for Avery® 5160 labels has every measurement.
The usual sheets: 5167 is 1/2 × 1-3/4 in, 80 to a sheet; 5195 is 2/3 × 1-3/4 in (0.66 in on Avery's template), 60 to a sheet; 8257 is 3/4 × 2-1/4 in, 30 to a sheet.
Type your name and address above, once, choose the number on your box and download the PDF. For a holiday touch, put a first line such as “Season's greetings from” on a 5195 or larger sheet, then print at 100% (Actual size).
In Word's Labels dialog: Mailings > Labels, then Options for the label vendor and product number, your address in the Address box and Full page of the same label (Microsoft's steps). Here it's one step: type the address above and download the PDF.
